Come Back to Yourself
A slow, strong yoga practice to quiet the outside world, feel your body, and remember the beauty and power already within you.
There is a version of you that appears when everything gets quiet.
Not the woman answering messages, making plans, taking care of everyone, or wondering how she looks from the outside.
The woman underneath all of that.
This week’s practice is an invitation to meet her again.
Step onto your mat and let the outside world become less important for a while. Move slowly enough to feel your body working, adjusting, breathing, and carrying you.
Notice the transitions instead of rushing toward the next pose. Stay long enough to feel your strength. Pay attention to what your body can do today, not what it used to do or what you believe it should be able to do.
There is something powerful about giving your body your full attention.
Not because it needs to be fixed. Because it deserves to be known.
You do not need to prove that you are flexible, calm, strong, or good at yoga. You only need to stay present long enough to notice yourself.
Maybe gratitude begins there.
Thank you, legs, for holding me.
Thank you, arms, for supporting me.
Thank you, lungs, for continuing to breathe.
This practice is not about pretending you love every part of yourself every day. It is about creating a few quiet moments where you stop fighting your body and begin listening to it.
Moments where you feel beautiful because you are present.
Powerful because you are connected.
Strong because you stayed.
Your yoga mat can be more than a place to exercise. It can be the place where you hear yourself again. Where you remember what you need.
Where the noise fades.
And where, little by little, you find your way back to yourself.
