Somewhere along the way, movement stopped being a game and started being a performance.

We began “cleaning it up.” Holding it in. Looking for the right shape, the right outfit, the right angle, the right level of calm. And if you’re in perimenopause (or honestly… just alive), your brain is already running enough tabs. The last thing your body needs is one more place where you have to be good.

So today’s class is a reset.
Not a “fix yourself” flow. Not a “get snatched” flow. A play flow.

We’re going to move like a kid again — curious, a little chaotic, and fully allowed to be surprised. Expect weird transitions. Unexpected shapes. A few moments that make you go, wait… can I do that? And also moments where you wobble and your inner critic tries to grab the microphone.

When that happens, here’s the practice:
Notice the voice. Smile at it. Keep moving anyway.

Because play is not silly. Play is nervous system medicine. It’s how we teach the body that it’s safe to explore. It’s how we build resilience without bracing. It’s how we remember we’re not here to look impressive. We’re here to feel alive inside our own skin.

And yes, you might judge yourself for a second. You might feel awkward. You might want to “do it right.”
But what if this time you let the point be: joy?

Let this be your permission slip to be messy and present.
To fall out and come back.
To laugh mid-transition.
To move like no one is watching, because no one is grading you here.

Today, we’re not chasing perfection.
We’re practicing freedom.
